Jacob's Story
Jake was my son, and he was only 20 years young when he passed away. He had a huge heart, a great sense of humor, and a natural way of caring for people without ever looking for recognition. I miss him everyday, and I want others to know the person behind Jacob's Light.
One of my favorite memories of Jake is the day he cleaned the beach with a bucket and a huge caring heart. He saw something that needed to be done, and he simply did it. That was Jake. That memory means so much to me because it captures his kindness in such a simple, everyday moment.
Through Jacob's Light, I carry that memory into the work we do—helping a neighbor, offering comfort to a grieving parent, and caring for our community. Each act is a way to honor the son I love and keep his light shining.

Jake's Blessing Box
Free food, hygiene items, and essentials for neighbors in need.
Remembrance Baskets
Thoughtfully assembled baskets offering comfort and care items to parents who have recently lost a child. Each basket is given with love and understanding from one bereaved parent to another.
Remembrance Park
A peaceful place honoring children who left this world too soon, where bereaved parents can remember, reflect, and find peace.

Why Jacob's Light Was Created
Jacob's Light Memorial Foundation grew from the love I have for my son, Jake, and my desire to keep his kindness moving through the world. After losing him, I knew I wanted his life and the love he gave so freely to continue making a difference.
Through acts of kindness, support for bereaved parents, Jake's Blessing Box, Remembrance Baskets, and our plans for a Remembrance Park, we hope to bring comfort, connection, and a little light to people during some of life's darkest moments.
Jake was here. He mattered. And his light continues.
